How do I get started after I sign up?

Open Settings to add your business info and prices, open Integrations to connect Stripe, then create a quote and enter the customer's property address to measure the lawn. Review the outline and pricing before sending the quote.

Do I need any equipment or a satellite subscription?

No. Measuring runs off standard satellite imagery inside LawnVex. You just type an address.

How does the AI auto-measure work?

Accepted Answer

You type a property address and LawnVex pulls satellite imagery, detects the mowable turf, and returns square footage with ready-to-send quote packages. It excludes the house, driveway, and other non-lawn areas so you're quoting the grass, not the roof.

How accurate is the measurement?

It's accurate enough to quote confidently on most standard residential lots and it saves you the drive-by. Always eyeball the result before you send, especially on large or unusual properties, and adjust the size if you know the lot better than the satellite does.

What if an address won't resolve or the measure looks wrong?

You can always type the lawn size in by hand. Manual entry is free, it never uses a measure credit, and it's there for any address the satellite can't pin down.

Can I edit the quote packages the AI generates?

Yes. Open Settings, then Quote packages to edit the Basic, Premium, and Full Service names, descriptions, and included services. Use My prices for the service rate card, and edit Company profile for the default mowing rate per square foot and base visit fee.

What counts as a measure credit?

One credit is used each time you run an AI satellite measure on an address. Typing a lawn size in by hand is always free and never touches your credits.

What happens if I run out of measures?

You can upgrade your plan for more monthly measures or add overage. Manual entry stays free the whole time, so you're never blocked from sending a quote.

Do unused measures roll over?

Measures are metered per month by plan. For how rollover and overage work on your specific plan, message us and we'll walk you through it.

What do the plans cost?

Plans are Solo $49 (40 measures), Crew $99 (150), Multi-Crew $199 (500), and Scale $349 (1,500) per month. New accounts begin with a 14-day no-card trial that includes 5 AI measurements. Manual lawn-size entry never uses an AI measurement credit.

Which plan should I pick?

Start on the trial, watch how many AI measures you actually use in two weeks, then match a plan to that. Solo fits most one-truck operators. Move up when your measure volume or crew count grows.

How do I change or cancel my plan?

Open Billing & plan in LawnVex. You can manage billing or cancel your subscription online; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.

How do I take payment from customers?

Payments run through Stripe. Connect your Stripe account once, then you can charge cards on invoices and get paid directly. Customers can pay from the invoice or the client portal.

When do payouts hit my bank?

Payout timing is set by Stripe based on your account, usually a couple of business days after a charge. For questions about a specific payout, contact us or check your Stripe dashboard.

Does it sync with QuickBooks?

Yes. LawnVex syncs directly to QuickBooks Online, and you can also export CSV or IIF if you'd rather import manually or your bookkeeper prefers it.

Can I bring my existing customers over?

Yes. You can import your customer list from Jobber or Yardbook using a CSV. Your customers and properties land in LawnVex ready to quote and schedule.

Yes. You get a public quote link you can share anywhere, plus an embeddable widget you can drop into your own site so leads can request a quote directly.

Where can I find or update my rate card?

Go to Settings, then My prices. That is the LawnVex rate card or price book where you add or edit service names, units, prices, and target margins.

Where do I change my mowing price per square foot?

Go to Settings, find Company profile, and click its edit button. Change Mowing rate ($/sq ft) there; the Base visit fee is in the same form.

Where do I edit Basic, Premium, and Full Service packages?

Go to Settings, then Quote packages. Package names and included services live there; service prices are managed separately under My prices.

How do I send a quote?

Open Quotes, create or select the quote, review its measurement, line items, packages, and customer details, then use the send action. Sent quotes can be tracked and converted into scheduled work from the Quotes screen.

How do I delete a quote?

Open Quotes and use Delete draft on the quote. LawnVex limits deletion to drafts so accepted or financially relevant records are not silently removed.

Where do I manage projects and progress reports?

Open Projects for larger one-time jobs such as hardscaping or drainage. From a project, create progress updates with completed, current, and upcoming work, photos, and notes, then share them through the customer portal, email, or text when the channel is available and consented.

Where do I create customer email or SMS campaigns?

Open Customer Campaigns. Select only customers who opted into the channel you plan to use, then create and send the relevant campaign.

Schedule jobs, then let LawnVex build Google-optimized routes for your day. You can split routes across multiple crews, save and reuse routes, and set a depot start and return so the day runs tight.
